Ocean Technology Foundation to Support
Tax-deductible Campaign Donations

Team Acadia is pleased to announce it has formed a partnership with the Ocean Technology Foundation. OTF will be providing administrative and technical support during the project. OTF is a 501(C)(3) organization and tax deductible donations for the campaign can be made to: Ocean Technology - Team Acadia, c/o Clay Burkhalter, P.O. Box 81, Stonington, CT 06378.

The Ocean Technology Foundation (OTF) is an undersea research and education service organization whose activities range from supporting its own projects to developing deep water technologies and research programs.

The Foundation’s mission is to foster excellence in ocean exploration, marine research and education, and to promote commercial development - all with an emphasis on underwater activities from the coast to the deep ocean. OTF's Board of Directors has extensive international experience, contacts and resources, and are professionals in undersea science, industry, government, finance, education and engineering.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Foundation provides opportunities for companies and competitors to collaborate under the auspices of a neutral organization and management team. OTF's organizational structure facilitates participation and collaborations among commercial, educational, research, and governmental interests.

The Ocean Technology Foundation’s key initiatives are pursued through partnerships in areas such as:

• Program Development and Project Management
• Public Outreach and Marine Education
• Living Resource Assessments and Restoration
• Technical Support and Consulting

Partners include education organizations, academia, state, federal and international governments, researchers, entrepreneurs, industry, and others.
